International Women’s Day - Charlotte

We are proud to celebrate another inspirational woman in the packaging industry! 

Meet Charlotte from Carton Edge! 

Charlotte joined the family owned business Carton Edge Ltd back in 2011 as part of the quality team having spent her earlier career in Sales.  Over the next 5 years Charlotte spent time in all departments learning the business and then, as part of a succession plan, made the transition to Managing Director in early 2016.  Carton Edge is a finishing subcontractor with a workforce of 40 people working over two shifts offering a diverse range of finishing processes.  

As Carton Edge is a family owned business Charlotte’s aim is not only to continue the success of the past 30 years by improving and developing the business capabilities but to also champion change and diversity within the packaging industry.   

On a personal note, Charlotte lives just outside Coventry in the West Midlands with her husband Simon, son Billy, daughter Libby and Beagles Bertie & Bella.  Charlotte loves to organise a party especially in the summer and socialise with friends and family. 

Carton Edge is a member of BPIF Cartons and throughout March we will continue to highlight our members talents and inspirational women in our industry!
