ECMA and Metsä Board Study Tour

Would you like to learn all there is to know about the production of cartonboard? Follow the folding carton industry supply chain from forest to consumer during the ECMA and Metsä Board Study Tour to Finland on Wednesday 14 March to Friday 16 March.

The tour will bring you to Äänekoski in central Finland, where both the Äänekoski Board Mill and the world's first next-generation bio-product mill are located. The Äänekoski Board Mill produces fully coated bleached paperboard for high performance packaging and graphical end uses. The bio-product mill produces high-quality pulp and a broad range of bio-products.

Participants to this study tour will have to arrange their flights and hotels (information about hotel reservations can be found on the online registration form below). The mill visits, lunches, dinners and local transportation is organised and kindly offered by Metsä Board.

The tour is being offered exclusively to the European converter community, with the number of participants limited to 20. To ensure your place on the study tour be sure to register before Thursday 1 February 2018.
