Big turn out for BPIF Cartons event in Cambridgeshire

45 members of BPIF Cartons and Pro Carton assembled in St Ives, Cambridgeshire on 25 September to debate industry issues and catch up with old friends.

The event began with a series of briefings on some of the hot topics in the industry today including carbon footprinting, FSC/PEFC accreditation and lean manufacturing. The sessions were drawn to a close by Pro Carton UK chairman Robert Davidson of Alexir Packaging reminding delegates of the benefits of Pro Carton membership.

The briefings were followed by a dinner with more time to catch up and make new business contacts.

BPIF Cartons and Pro Carton hold these regional events 3 or 4 times a year in locations which have included Yorkshire, Bristol and Belfast. The next event is in South Wales on 14 November.
