HOW BOARD IS MADE COURSE AT IGGESUND

In October 2023, Iggesund Workington hosted the BPIF Cartons Foundation training course on Board making. 

Engaging 13 employees from four Carton converters – Alexir Packaging, Castle Colour Packaging, Offset Print and Packaging, GCP ( Glossop Cartons) and Kentmere Packaging. 

The course included a visit to a local forest for insights into forestry management and a detailed explanation of the board making process. 

The highlight of the course was seeing the board machine and sheeting departments in action at the mill. All attendees thoroughly enjoyed the course and found it extremely worthwhile.
