BPIF Cartons shows that charity matters
At this year's BPIF Cartons President's Lunch, which was attend by 100 senior executives from both carton converter and partner members, raised a fantastic £1,615 for the children's charity, Jigsaw South East. This takes the total raised over the last four lunches to over £6,000.
Jigsaw South East supports bereaved children, young people and their families and also those affected by a family member with a life limiting illness, across Surrey, West Sussex and surrounding areas. The death or serious illness of a family member can be devastating and often brings many challenges into the life of a young person. Children need to be given age appropriate information and support so that they can understand what is happening within their family.
Robert Davison, President - BPIF Cartons, said, "We wanted to support a local charity that really makes a difference to the local community. Again, this year, we are overwhelmed with the personal kindness and generosity of so many of the UK's leading carton producers and their suppliers who attended this event and wanted to support this worthy cause. Jigsaw is an incredible charity that delivers vital support to families and care to children when they need it the most so offering our support was an easy decision."
