BPIF Cartons welcomes new member

About Prismm Environmental
Prismm Environmental has been a BPIF associate member for many years and actively supports the BPIF on waste and recycling management matters. Positioned specifically within the printing industries, Prismm not only work on behalf of printers and the associated supply chain directly regarding environmental management, but also pioneer initiatives to advance the industry in all areas of responsible waste handling, control and treatment.

An example of Prismm and the BPIF working on specific printer waste requirements is the Zero Foil 2 Landfill Scheme (set up in-line with Prismm's other project Zero Labels 2 Landfill) which provides a solution for recovery and recycling waste of metalised polyester foil, commonly used throughout the label, flexible packaging, print finishing and carton sectors.

Prismm senior management are on the board of The Recycling Association, who advise and inform on the state of the recycling markets, both domestic and overseas. This ties in with Prismm's trading division for commodities such as cardboards, papers and plastics, enabling engagement into the vision of a circular economy.

Prismm Environmental is looking forward to actively working with BPIF Cartons and playing a contributing role towards the vision of a circular economy and the environmental management of its members.
